RONE Award Nominee

My novel, One Safe Place, is a nominee for the RONE Award. This is an award given to the best of the best in indie and small press publishing. To be recognized, a novel must have received at least a four star review from reviewers at In’Dtale online magazine:

My story received 4.5 stars.

I’m so excited, and thrilled to participate. There is some stiff competition, so even if I don’t make it into the final round I’m happy to be in the race.

The first round requires public voting from readers. Finalists then go into a final round where their book is judged by industry personnel. My category, Steamy contemporary, will accept votes during May 22-28, 2017. Go here to register for the magazine:  it is free, and it is fun, and then you’ll be able to vote.

In October, there will be an award ceremony during the In’Dscribe conference, in October. The conference is held in Burbank, California.

I’m truly blessed. These kind of awards don’t often happen to me. It’s hard to know what to do to get books out there and into the hands of the readers, let alone get any kind of recognition from contests. All any author can do is keep trying, and keep trying to write the very best book.

Until next time, have fun, be safe.
